A different take on Nick Clegg’s election

By theyorkshireguidon

 Somebody mentioned this to me as a different and interesting take on Nick Clegg’s election as Liberal Democrat leader:

The Tories, for years, have wanted their own Tony Blair and so elected David Cameron;

In turn the Liberal Democrats wanted their own David Cameron and so elected Nick Clegg;

And in their own turn, at some point in the near future, Labour will want their own Nick Clegg and will elect David Miliband as leader and so the cycle will be complete.

Probably too early to be thinking about the year ahead, but on a political level I’ve already some thoughts on what I will be concentrating on. But more of that later. In the meantime, best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
